Natural and unposed – if that’s what you want from your wedding photos, you’re off to a good start. You’ve never been a stickler for traditions you don’t follow, so why start now? Have you ever understood why there’s such a fanfare in cutting the cake in full view of your guests? Me neither, and while I can recommend some amazingly artistic cake makers, I’m not going to demand you pose for a photo with a knife in your hand.
Mark Carey - I put a lot of thought into my photography of your wedding day. I am not happy with second best. I am not happy with duff expressions, unflattering angles or poor compositions. My background working as an experienced documentary photographer has taught me to be quiet, open my eyes, anticipate, look and think before I shoot. Its never about me, its all about the pictures.
I’m a wedding photographer based in Guildford, Surrey and photograph weddings in Surrey and all over the UK. My style is a fusion of relaxed, reportage photography and contemporary portraiture. I’ll blend into the background for most of the day, letting you get on with enjoying yourselves. Recently married myself, I know how important it is to be able to enjoy the wedding day without spending hours posing for photos.
Dulwich College - The spectacular gates and front lawns of the Barry Buildings provide a beautiful backdrop for al fresco drinks receptions and wedding photographs. After the wedding breakfast in the Great Hall, guests make their way down the grand staircases leading to the Lower Hall and Cloisters on the ground floor. These areas are often used in harmony with the Great Hall as they make ideal spaces for an evening party or as a quiet spot for guests to enjoy coffee and conversation.
Established in 1785 — Belair House is a stunning two-floor Georgian Mansion surrounded by panoramic views of Belair Park that possesses a unique charm, transporting you from the City to the Countryside. We understand that preparation and planning is key to achieving your perfect day — so we offer our skilled team to guide you through your vision step by step.
No two couples are ever the same, nor are two weddings. We delight in providing as much (or as little) support and guidance as required. Of course catering is our main focus, but we can advise on everything from entertainment to floristry, photographers to venues. Every client receives a copy of our Little Black Book which contains many invaluable contacts and lots of useful information. Our experience allows us to ensure every detail is considered, no matter how small. We will work closely with you to help create your dream wedding.
